Advanced Grant Writing
Elevate your grant writing from good to funded. This advanced workshop equips experienced grant writers with strategic frameworks to improve proposal success rates. You'll learn to critically evaluate funding opportunities against funder guidelines, develop compelling logic models and realistic timelines, and write proposal components that resonate with reviewers. The workshop covers optimal strategies for engaging program officers, proven methods to increase funding probability, and techniques for strengthening resubmissions based on reviewer feedback. Whether pursuing federal grants, foundation funding, or corporate partnerships, you'll gain the advanced toolkit needed to secure competitive funding consistently.

About the Facilitator

Angela Pool-Funai currently serves as the Assistant Provost for Academic Programs and Dean of the Graduate School & Office of Research at Fort Hays State University. She holds a tenured academic appointment in Sociology. Dr. P-F has spent the bulk of her career in higher education, including several years in the grants & research administration arena before transitioning to the faculty. She is the author of Ethics in Fiscal Administration: An Introduction and co-author of The Reflective Administrator: A Leader-Centered Focus. Dr. P-F holds degrees from Valdosta State University, Baylor University and Stephen F. Austin State University. In her spare time, she enjoys DIY projects and canoeing local reservoirs.
